Signs of the Coming Messiah

August 7, 2026

The Ministry of Repentance and Holiness was founded on a single, urgent message: the Messiah is coming, and the Church is called to prepare the way — the same charge given to the voice crying in the wilderness in Isaiah 40:3, later fulfilled in the ministry of John the Baptist and applied by Jesus Himself to the season before His return.

Scripture does not leave believers guessing about what precedes this return. Matthew 24 records Jesus’ own answer to His disciples’ question about the signs of His coming: wars and rumors of war, famines, earthquakes “in various places,” false prophets and false christs, lawlessness increasing, and — significant to the Ministry’s global broadcast mandate — “this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all nations, and then the end will come” (Matthew 24:14).

The Ministry’s revival meetings, conferences and global broadcasts are understood within this framework: not as an end in themselves, but as participation in the “gospel preached to all nations” that Scripture ties directly to readiness for the Messiah’s return.

This is also why the Ministry places such weight on repentance rather than mere anticipation. Peter’s words in Acts 3:19–20 tie the two together directly: “Repent therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, and that He may send Jesus Christ.” The coming of the Messiah, in other words, is met by a Church actively repenting — not one waiting passively.

Whatever season the Church finds itself in, the scriptural instruction remains the same: watch, and be ready (Matthew 24:44).
